Beatrice Barleon

Beatrice Barleon is a senior policy and public affairs professional with extensive experience across various policy areas, including disability, equality, and housing. They served as Campaigns Manager at Every Disabled Child Matters from 2013 to 2014, where they led national advocacy efforts, and previously worked as a Policy Officer for the British Property Federation and as Women's Officer for the Electoral Reform Society. At Mencap, Beatrice held multiple positions, culminating in the role of Policy Manager, where they achieved significant policy changes and led strategic initiatives. Currently, they are the Head of Public Affairs and Policy at EngineeringUK, focusing on enhancing STEM education and workforce issues. Beatrice holds an MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and a BA in Joint Honours African Studies & Cultural Studies from the University of Birmingham.
