Chihtong Lee has extensive work experience starting in 2021. They have held multiple roles at Rice University, including as a Center for Academic and Professional Communication Consultant, Peer Academic Advisor, and Undergraduate Researcher in the Alvarez Lab. In 2022, Chihtong served as an Internal Vice President for Engineers Without Borders at Rice University, where they led community outreach and engineering education events, organized club-wide social events, and conducted research and design projects. They also served as an External Vice President for the American Society of Civil Engineers Rice Chapter. In 2023, Chihtong worked as a Water Resources/Coastal Engineering Intern at AECOM. Additionally, they gained experience as a research intern at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy and the NEWT Engineering Research Center, where they worked on projects related to water purification and sustainable distillation.
Chihtong Lee obtained a High School Diploma from the International School of Prague between the years 2016 and 2020. In addition, Chihtong Lee pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rice University from 2021 to 2025. They also obtained a certification as a Rescue Diver from PADI in July 2018.
