Lars Meyer has been a Software Developer at Enginsight GmbH since 2020. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2020, they were a Research Assistant, Java Developer, Tutor and Firmware Developer at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Their research focused on conversational information retrieval with a focus on voice channels, and they co-led a student project using this technology. Lars also developed a WebRTC-based software stack that connects browsers with voice services such as Amazon Voice Service or Google Assistant Service using the respective SDKs running on cluster infrastructure. Additionally, they developed a GUI and algorithm to purely visually assess differences between original and archived versions of web pages, with automatic establishment of element correspondences between the two. Lars also provided assistance in cluster storage solution migration from HDFS to CephFS.

Lars Meyer obtained a Bachelor of Science in Medieninformatik from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in 2017, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Science for Digital Media from the same institution in 2019.
