Amanda Adkins is an experienced educator with a focus on special education and English as a second language. Currently serving as a high school SPED teacher at Ohio Virtual Academy since February 2025, Amanda has also held positions as an English Second Language Teacher at Engoo from October 2021 to the present and as an Intervention Specialist at Summit Academy Secondary School - Canton from February 2023 to February 2025. Additional experience includes working as an Education Assistant at Canton City School District and a Client Solutions Specialist at Legacy Tree Genealogists, Inc. Amanda began a career in education as an ESL Teacher at VIPKid, teaching children in China from August 2017 to March 2022.
