Alex G. has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles over the years. In their most recent position at Enhance IT, Alex held the role of SME - Analytics and Big Data (Cloud) starting in 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Data Officer at ALTÁN REDES from 2018 to 2020. They also served as the Regional Sr. Manager for BI, Data Mining & Customer Analytics at América Móvil from 2016 to 2018.

Alex G. spent a significant amount of time at HSBC, where they held various positions. From 2012 to 2016, they served as the Regional Head of Distribution Channels & Customer Insights, Corporate and Business Banking for LATAM. Their responsibilities included improving customer journey, multi-channel knowledge, and increasing customer and channel profitability. From 2009 to 2012, they held the role of Vice President CRM & BI for Latin America, focusing on direct marketing and multi-channel strategies. Additionally, they served as the Vice President for Direct Channels and CRM Asia Pacific from 2008 to 2009, overseeing internet, call center, ATM, and mobile banking for HSBC in the Asia Pacific region.

Before working at HSBC, Alex G. started their career at Merck & Co., where they worked as a Customer Relationship Management Business Analyst from 2003 to 2005.

Throughout their career, Alex G. has gained expertise in analytics, big data, customer analytics, CRM, and multi-channel strategies.

Alex G. has a diverse education history with a focus on business, data analysis, and machine learning. In 2000, Alex completed a specialization in Finance at Harvard University. They then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in BA and a minor in Information Systems at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2004.

In 2002, Alex pursued further studies in the field of business administration through an exchange program at the University of Sydney. Additionally, they completed a specialization in Corporate Finance at The London School of Economics and Political Science during the same year.

Alex continued their education by obtaining an MBA degree from Texas McCombs School of Business from 2009 to 2011. They also pursued another MBA at Tecnológico de Monterrey during the same period.

In the years following, Alex focused on data analysis and strategy. They completed a Diploma in Data Mining Strategies & Tools at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2012, and a Diploma in Big Data with a concentration in Big Data & Strategy at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2016-2017.

Most recently, in 2020-2021, Alex pursued a postgraduate degree at The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in Machine Learning, ML Ops, and Big Data.
