Tom Young

Tom Young is a seasoned consultant with extensive experience in environmental management and project development within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as a Consultant at Enhaven since February 2025, Tom previously held significant roles including Head of Environment and Consents at BlueFloat Energy and Chair of the NZ Offshore Wind Working Group at the New Zealand Wind Energy Association. Tom's expertise further encompasses leadership positions at the Infrastructure Sustainability Council, where responsibilities as NZ Lead were carried out, and project management roles at Frame Group Limited and SDIC Power Holdings, focusing on delivering consent for large-scale offshore wind projects. Tom's early career included notable contributions to ScottishPower, Community Energy Scotland, and Changeworks, alongside foundational work as an Environmental Consultant at Entec. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from The University of Edinburgh.
