Alex Hamilton

Alex Hamilton is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Decommissioning Manager at Eni since September 2018, focusing on the preparation and decommissioning of offshore assets for carbon capture utilization and storage. Hamilton has held various roles, including Operations Superintendent and Offshore Installation Manager, demonstrating extensive operational management skills in both offshore and onshore environments. Prior to Eni, Hamilton accumulated valuable experience at Nexen, Talisman Sinopec Energy UK Limited, and Talisman Energy, leading teams in production operations, maintenance, and asset integrity. Hamilton's career began at Weir Pumps Ltd and has included a solid technical foundation with a background in mechanical engineering from Langside College.
