Ed Rand

Ed Rand is a Senior Legal Counsel at Eni since May 2012, specializing in UKCS upstream mergers and acquisitions and commercial contracts, with current efforts focused on negotiating and settling EPCIC agreements for FLNG and LNG projects. Prior to Eni, Ed Rand worked as a Solicitor at Norton Rose Group from April 2005 to April 2012, where expertise included cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, governance, and corporate advisory work, including a year seconded to HSBC Holdings plc. Ed Rand began a legal career as an Associate Solicitor at Herbert Smith from 1998 to April 2005, concentrating on public and private M&A, joint ventures, and ECM transactions. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts from Keble College, University of Oxford, and attendance at Nottingham Law School.
