Gianluigi Sala is an experienced professional in well operations and research and development. They held various managerial roles at Eni from 2019 to 2022, including Subsea Drilling & Completion Projects Manager, Head of Subsurface Data Management, and Head of Research and Technological Innovation for Drilling and Completion. Prior to this, Gianluigi served as Well Construction Manager at North Caspian Operating Company N.V. from 2014 to 2016 and has an extensive background in drilling and completion supervision across different regions. Gianluigi earned both a Junior and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, as well as a qualification in Drilling, Completion, and Workover Engineering from ENI Corporate University.
