Michela De Simoni

Michela De Simoni is the Head of R&D for the subsurface area at Eni, a position through which they lead various research and development initiatives. Prior to this role, Michela held multiple leadership positions within Eni, including overseeing teams focused on heavy oil and gas injection. Michela also worked as a Reservoir Engineer and managed drilling, production, and environmental laboratories. They began their academic career as a researcher at Politecnico di Milano, where they earned both a Doctor of Philosophy and a Laurea in engineering, graduating with high honors.
