Mickel Sluijter

Mickel Sluijter currently serves as the Occupational and Operational Safety Manager at Eni, a position held since February 2024, where notable achievements include the development and implementation of the “TRIC” form, enhancing safe work practices, and optimizing the digital PTW system in collaboration with the maintenance team. Prior to Eni, Mickel held the role of Operational HSE Manager at Neptune Energy from January 2023 to February 2024, leading a team to achieve over 50% reduction in incident rates in the Dutch sector. Additionally, Mickel served as the Lead HSE Advisor for Drilling & Wells at Neptune, quickly becoming the primary HSE focal point for offshore activities. From August 2006 to January 2023, Mickel was a Safety Training Specialist at Noble Corporation, overseeing HSE aspects during projects and serving as the onboard safety representative. Mickel began the career in the Dutch Navy as a sailor from 2001 to 2005.
