Nicolas Sofroniou

Nicolas Sofroniou has over a decade of experience in cost control and project management within the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as an Operations Cost Controller at Eni since August 2014, responsibilities include verifying work progress, updating cost documentation, and monitoring budget compliance. Previous roles include Document Control Coordinator at VTTI B.V. and Cost Controller at Atlas Pantou Group of Companies, where responsibilities encompassed cost data analysis and liaising with various project stakeholders. Early career experience includes handling claims at Soboh Petroleum and managing large-scale Brownfield projects at Transfield Worley Limited with a budget portfolio exceeding AUD$200 million. Nicolas holds multiple degrees from Coventry University, including an MSc in Control Engineering and Mathematics and a BSc in Mathematical Sciences.
