Raffaello Matarazzo

Raffaello Matarazzo is currently the Head of International Public Affairs for Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific at Eni, where they lead strategic engagement with governments and stakeholders in dynamic energy markets. With over 25 years of experience in energy, international affairs, and public policy, Raffaello focuses on sustainable growth and technological innovation. They previously held various leadership roles within Eni and served as a Senior Researcher and advisor in prestigious institutions, including the European Parliament and the Italian Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee. Raffaello has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at St. John’s University and the University of Perugia, and holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in European Affairs from La Sapienza University of Rome.
