Ryosuke (Rio) Yokote is a Senior Petroleum Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry and serves as an SPE Distinguished Lecturer for 2024-2025. They began their career at INPEX from 1995 to 2009, where they held various roles, including Senior Petroleum Engineer and Interface Engineer, providing expertise in flow assurance and managing offshore operations. Since 2009, they have been part of Eni Australia, offering engineering support for daily production and well operations and conducting numerous technical studies. Ryosuke earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Resource Engineering from Tohoku University from 1989 to 1995 and has authored several technical papers while presenting at various technical events.
