Simone Cesari is an accomplished Project Manager in Research and Technological Innovation at Eni since December 2018, overseeing the Verus LNG project in Australia and leading feasibility studies for solar energy integration in brownfields, as well as technology scouting for thermodynamic solar collectors. Prior experience includes serving as an R&D Heat Pump Water Heaters Designer at Ariston Thermo Group, and as an energy engineer at Zuccato Energia Srl, focusing on Organic Rankine Cycles. Additionally, an internship at the University of Bologna involved computational simulations of organic Rankine cycle units. Simone holds a Master's degree in Energy Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering from the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, as well as a Master's thesis from the Technical University of Denmark in the field of thermal energy.
