Michael Niu

Michael Niu is the VP of Legal & Trust at Enigma. Michael has also served as the Head of Legal at Clarifai and as an Associate General Counsel at DigitalOcean. Prior to that, they worked as Legal & Operations at The Human Diagnosis Project and as an Associate at Quinn Emanuel. Michael has a wealth of experience in high-stakes litigation, cross-border commercial disputes, risk quantification, and strategic counseling. Michael's practice areas have included IP, complex commercial, bankruptcy, antitrust, trade secrets, and securities. Michael has also worked with tech companies in the consumer data and advertising, networking across OSI, semiconductors and chip design, storage devices and media, smartphones, cancer treatment algorithms and radiation devices, artificial intelligence, and virtual and augmented reality spaces. Michael is a dedicated legal professional with a commitment to social impact in digital health.

Michael Niu received a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a BS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
