Richard Kahn

Richard Kahn has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Richard is currently employed as a Senior Data Scientist at Enigma Technologies, Inc. since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at McMaster-Carr from June 2020 to present as a System Engineer and promoted to Software Engineering Manager in October 2021.

In addition, Richard worked as a Course Assistant at Stanford University from April 2020 to June 2020. Before that, they gained experience as a Finance/Engineering Intern at Landed from June 2019 to September 2019.

Richard had a long tenure at Locus Analytics from June 2013 to May 2018. Richard started as a Project Manager, responsible for managing a team of researchers and developing tools for company classification. Later, they were promoted to the role of Director of Research and Development, leading a team of 10 in developing the core theory and classification system used by Locus Analytics.

Richard began their career as a Summer Analyst at Locus Analytics in 2012 and as a Summer Intern at IQS Research in 2011.

Richard Kahn completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Math & Philosophy from Yale University from 2009 to 2013. Then, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University. Additionally, they obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in June 2017.
