Zhanni Gao

Zhanni Gao has a diverse work experience that spans from 2011 to the current year. They have held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in areas such as product development, data science, financial analytics, derivatives, research, and corporate finance. Zhanni Gao has worked at Enigma Technologies, Inc. as a Product and Data Science professional since December 2018. Prior to that, they worked at PwC from 2015 to 2018, starting as a Financial Analytics & Derivatives Intern and progressing to the role of Senior Financial Analytics & Derivatives Associate. They also gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant and Vice-President at Grinnell College, where they were involved in research on anti-bribery legislation enforcement and international diversity advocacy. Additionally, Zhanni Gao has interned at Merger Agency, Northeast Securities, and Boston Community Capital, where they gained exposure to corporate finance, research, and community financial institutions. They also had a unique teaching experience as a Teacher in Prison at the Newton Correctional Facility, where they provided art and art history classes to convicts. Zhanni Gao obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Financial Engineering (Programming Track) from Columbia University in the years 2014 to 2015. Before that, they attended Grinnell College from 2010 to 2014, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Physics. In 2013, they also had a study abroad experience at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, focusing on International Business. Prior to their college education, from 2008 to 2009, Zhanni Gao completed their A-levels in Science at Raffles Institution.
