Vipula Shukla

Vipula Shukla is an internationally recognized scientific and executive leader with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of global research, business, philanthropy, and investment in plant science and agriculture. Vipula previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at both the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and the University of California at San Diego, where significant research was conducted on key plant molecular mechanisms. At Dow AgroSciences, Vipula led innovative research programs and established a new business function focused on Ag technology, while currently holding a position as a Senior Program Officer for Agriculture R&D at the Gates Foundation, managing investments to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers. Moreover, Vipula has taken on advisory roles for various organizations, including AgBiome and Provivi, Inc., further contributing to advancements in agricultural technology.
