Aashay Arora

Aashay Arora has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to present. From 2011 to 2013, they held various roles at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, including Vice President of the Civil Engineering Society, Coordinator of Megalith, and General Secretary of the Civil Engineering Society. In 2012, they were a Student Intern at South Dakota State University. From 2013 to 2018, they were a Research Scholar, Faculty Associate, and Graduate Research Associate at Arizona State University, specializing in the design and characterization of innovative materials with a focus on sustainable construction materials. Aashay was also a research mentor to fifteen graduate and undergraduate students and the lab manager for the Advanced Cementitious Materials Lab. In 2019, they became an Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Researcher at the National Science Foundation (NSF). Aashay is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of EnKoat.

Aashay Arora began their educational journey in 1997 at New Digamber Public School, where they completed their Higher Secondary. From 2009 to 2013, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, earning their B.Tech (Honors) in Civil Engineering. In 2018, they graduated from Arizona State University with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Structures and Materials Engineering. In October 2018, they also obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Engineering, Civil Engineering from NCEES.
