Andre Byfield

Andre Byfield has over 20 years of experience in database engineering and architecture. Andre currently holds the position of Principal Data Architect at Enlyte, where they are responsible for defining best practices, adopting new technologies, and building relationships with technical leads. Previously, they worked as a Senior Principal Database Engineer at Mitchell International, where they designed and maintained highly scalable SQL Server databases. Andre also worked as a Database Consultant at Cricket Communications, integrating a billing system with a rules engine they developed. Andre has experience as a Data Warehousing Consultant at Verve Wireless, where they designed and developed a data warehouse using PostgreSQL. Andre also held positions as a Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Cricket Communications, managing database development and designing OLTP databases. At Spotcast Communications, they worked as a Database Engineer for a technology startup. Overall, Andre has a strong background in database engineering and architecture across various industries.

Andre Byfield holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University. Andre also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
