Vesa Koivisto

Vesa Koivisto has extensive experience in automation engineering and design. Vesa began their career at Kotka Control in 1990, where they worked as an Automation Engineer for 17 years. Vesa then joined Siemens Osakeyhtiö as an Automation Engineer until 2008.

From 2008 to 2018, Vesa worked at Neste Jacobs Oy as a Chief Design Engineer, specializing in PLC and basic process control systems in the energy, chemicals, and pulp & paper industry. Vesa also managed and supervised international commissioning projects during this time.

In 2015, Vesa joined Neste Engineering Solutions Oy as a Chief Design Engineer, focusing on automation. Vesa then moved to Rejlers Finland Oy in 2019, where they served as a Chief Design Engineer.

Most recently, in 2022, Vesa joined Enmac Oy as the Chief Designer of Automation, providing design services and turnkey solutions for industrial needs. Enmac is a specialist company offering expert services, project management, and turkey system deliveries in areas such as product development, technical design, plant and process design, energy and environmental services, and demanding expert services.

Vesa Koivisto attended Savonia University of Applied Sciences from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree. The field of study for their degree is not specified.
