Len Jorgenson

Len Jorgenson is an experienced energy industry professional currently serving as Plant General Manager for the Cavalier Energy Centre and ENMAX Wind Assets at ENMAX since January 2013. Previously, Len held the position of Operations Manager for the Shepard Energy Centre, where responsibilities included hiring and training staff, as well as ensuring safe, efficient operations during construction and post-commissioning. Prior to ENMAX, Len was with TransAlta from September 2003 to November 2012, serving as Manager of the Operations Diagnostic Centre and overseeing multiple power generation sites. Len also worked as Plant Manager for the Ft Sask Cogen facility and as Chief Operating Engineer at the Sundance Power Plant. Educational background includes a Power Engineering Technology degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and ABSA certifications completed between 2001 and 2005.
