David Benson

David Benson has a wealth of experience in software development. David started their career in 2003 as a Web Developer for ABC123 Marketing, LLC, where they developed web applications in ASP.NET and MS SQL Server. In 2006, they worked as a Software Development Intern for Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance, creating web-based utilities in AJAX, ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL Server. That same year, they also worked as a Software Consultant for Covenant HealthCare, developing desktop and web apps in .NET and MS SQL Server. In 2009, they worked as a Web Application Developer for TuneWiki, handcrafting Javascript, CSS, C#, ASP.NET, Flex, Mono, and a little PHP. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer for Applied Information Sciences, developing cutting edge web applications in JRuby on Rails, Node, .Net, AngularJS, D3, and Durandal (Python). David then moved to Smart Data in 2014 as a Development Lead, mentoring a team of developers and providing guidance on managing cloud services. Most recently, they have been a Lead Developer (Remote) for Enosix since 2019, where they have built a greenfield self-generating container-based SAP integration service using Kubernetes (EKS), .Net Core, React, and AWS, as well as created a docker-compatible registry backend to serve dynamically generated images.

David Benson obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from Cedarville University and attended Delta College. David also holds a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org, obtained in August 2013, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services, obtained in February 2018.
