Steven Long

Steven Long has been in the tech industry since 2008. Steven began their career as a Manager at Hansel & Gretel, a family-owned antiques and collectibles business, where they managed the daily activities of the shop, acted as a store clerk, kept the books for the store, and processed taxes. In 2015, they became a Software Engineering Intern at Vantiv. Two years later, they were promoted to Software Engineer at Vantiv, where they worked in FI and merchant EF/Pin processing, using languages and technologies such as assembler, RPF, TSO, C, JCL, and some COBOL. In 2018, they moved to Belcan as an Engineer II (Software Engineer), developing embedded systems software for aviation systems and requirements management utilizing IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation, and Rational Publishing Engine (RPE). In 2019, they became a Software Engineer at Insight Global, developing voice recognition software utilizing C# and the .NET Framework. Steven then moved to Intelligrated as a Technical Business Development Specialist, providing the LSS team with technical knowledge and sales tools pertaining to controls software and hardware. In 2020, they began working at First Financial Bank as an Application Developer, developing application software utilizing .NET, ServiceNow, SalesForce, PyCharm (Python), Dell Boomi, and various other platforms. Currently, they are a Full Stack Developer at enosix.

Steven Long obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science between 2011 and 2017. Steven also obtained a Minor in Chemistry and a Minor in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati during the same time period.
