Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in computer vision and image processing. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Enphase Energy since January 2021, Amit is focused on automating solar design tools. Prior to this role, Amit held the position of Senior Chief Engineer at Samsung Research India Bangalore from April 2013 to December 2020, where enhancements in image resolution through AI were developed for gallery zoom functionalities. Amit’s earlier roles include a position at Samsung Electronics in South Korea and Technical Lead at Samsung Research India Bangalore. Amit holds an M.Tech degree in Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
