Darryl Baker has extensive experience in program management and information security. Darryl currently works as a Program Manager at EnProVera Corporation, where they lead a team of COMSEC subject matter experts and manages a global COMSEC infrastructure for the Federal Bureau of Investigation Central Office of Record. Darryl is responsible for performing audits and providing training to COMSEC Managers. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Program Manager at ManTech International Corporation, where they had similar responsibilities.
Before transitioning to program management, Darryl served as an Information System Security Representative at Ingersoll Consulting Inc, where they acted as a liaison between the Information System Security Manager and the Information System Security Officer. Darryl provided recommendations on security levels and supported the implementation and enforcement of security policies. Darryl also worked as an IT Specialist at the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, where they analyzed reports on the effectiveness of medical information systems and conducted tests and evaluations.
Earlier in their career, Darryl served as an Information System Security Officer at James Secure Solutions, where they worked closely with government agencies and contractors on IT security matters. Darryl also worked as a Security Engineer at SAIC, supporting DOD customers in implementing secure web-based portals. Darryl's work experience also includes serving as an Information Security Technician in the U.S. Marine Corps, where they managed COMSEC equipment and keying material.
Darryl Baker earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Norfolk State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in July 2022 and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in March 2015.
