Anders Carlsson

Co-Founder and CEO at Enqlare

Anders Carlsson began their career in 2002 as the Co-founder and Business Developer at Oxeon AB, where they were involved in a start-up within advanced composite reinforcements. Anders played a key role in the initial project within Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship and later moved it into Stena Innovation incubator. From 2004 to 2008, they worked at Procter & Gamble as a Senior Purchasing Manager. In 2008, Carlsson joined Cargill, where they held various roles over the years. As a Dry Freight Trader in the Ocean Transportation department, they worked from 2008 to 2013. Anders then became the Business Development Manager for the Middle East, establishing a local presence in Dubai and leading key accounts and business development activities in the region from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they served as the Business Development Manager for EMEA - Ocean Transportation, leading key accounts and business development projects in the EMEA region. Most recently, in 2016, Anders Carlsson co-founded Enqlare and took on the role of Co-Founder and CEO. Enqlare is a modern and cloud-based transportation management system focused on improving teamwork in global bulk freight.

Anders Carlsson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in economics with a focus on corporate finance from the University of Gothenburg in 1998. From 1998 to 1999, they also studied economics and political science at Macalester College. Anders then pursued a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, along with Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship, at Chalmers University of Technology from 1996 to 2002. In 2000 and 2001, Anders attended a summer course in Business Management at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
