Michael Komp

Michael Komp has diverse work experience in various roles related to natural resources, GIS, and agriculture. Michael currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Enriched Ag since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director at the Conservation Technology Information Center from April 2019 to July 2022. Before that, they held positions at the Noble Research Institute, including Technical Program Manager, Ag Technology from February 2018 to April 2019, Spatial Technology Services Manager from January 2017 to February 2018, and Spatial Technology Services Supervisor from January 2015 to December 2016. Michael also worked as a Natural Resource and GIS Analyst at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota from July 2014 to January 2015 and as a Natural Resource Specialist from June 2010 to May 2014. Michael started their career as a Technical Writer at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources from May 2007 to July 2009.

Michael Komp completed their education in a chronological order. Michael first attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Natural Science with a focus on Wildlife Ecology. Following that, from 2009 to 2014, they pursued a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Science from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. Additionally, from 2011 to 2013, Michael simultaneously earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the same institution. In October 2016, they obtained a certification as a Commercial Small Unmanned Airborne System Remote Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration.
