Joan Codina

Joan Codina has worked in various roles since 1990. Joan began as a Professor Associat at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1990. In 1995, they took on a part-time lecturer role at the Fundació Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme. In 1996, they became a Professor at Tecnocampus Mataró and a Senior Software Developer at Telvent Trafico Y Transporte, S.A. In 1997, they took on a post-doc researcher and part-time lecturer role at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. In 1999, they became an I+d Software Engineer at Synera Systems, where they were in charge of optimizing caches and disc access strategies and developing and optimizing data mining algorithms. In 2008, they became a Senior Researcher at Fundacio Barcelona Media. Finally, in 2021, they became a NLP Senior Researcher at Ensemble IP LLC.

Joan Codina obtained their Phd in Systems Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1997, and their degree in computer science from the same university in 1988.
