Gregory Travis

Software Engineer at Enso

Gregory Travis has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Gregory began their career as a Lead Software Engineer at Looking Glass Studio, where they managed a team of programmers and developed a ground-breaking flight simulator. Gregory then worked as a Software Engineer at EarthWeb, where they designed and implemented real-time data delivery systems and web site generation systems. Gregory also worked as an Independent Software Consultant, providing software engineering and architecture services to various clients.

Gregory then joined DynamicLogic Inc. as the Vice President of Technology Development, where they supervised the development of internal and client-facing tools and products. At Google, Gregory served as a Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer, being responsible for the development of user-facing applications and leading the Live Case team through a major international launch.

After their time at Google, Gregory worked as a Mobile Engineer at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, where they served as the principal architect and developer for a mobile game and maintained the serverless backend framework. Gregory then moved on to ListenFirst, where they worked as a Principal Engineer and specialized in implementing and maintaining high-efficiency storage systems on top of standard AWS cloud products.

Most recently, Gregory joined Enso as a Software Engineer.

Gregory Travis attended Oberlin College from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
