Dmitry Bushev has worked in the software engineering industry since 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they were a System Administrator at OSCompany. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Developer at Smart Health Rus. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Lead Developer at TCS Bank, where they developed a backend for a money-transferring chat application in Scala and a REST API for configuration of internal bank services. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Research and Development Engineer at Huawei Technologies, where they developed a Stream data type for Scala DSL, an algorithm for Mesos cluster manager, and an Apache Spark build with custom C++ SQL runtime. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Software Engineer at Typeable, where they developed OSS Haskell libraries and tools, improved code quality, and modified build infrastructure with Nix, Hydra, and on-demand cloud instances. Finally, from 2020 to present, they have been a Software Engineer at Enso, where they have worked on the optimization of the Yzer chat backend, developed distributed cache with journaling, and added benchmarks to the QA process.

Dmitry Bushev obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping between 2007 and 2012. Dmitry also has a number of certifications, including a Flying Car Nanodegree from Udacity obtained in November 2018, as well as certifications from Coursera Course Certificates in Finding Hidden Messages in DNA (Bioinformatics I), Machine Learning: Classification, Machine Learning: Clustering & Retrieval, Game Theory II: Advanced Applications, Cryptography I, Machine Learning: Regression, Introduction to Logic, Automata, Game Theory, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala, obtained between 2015 and 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach certification from the University of Washington in November 2015.
