Andy Hale has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Andy began their career in 2003 at Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, where they worked as a Business Analyst, liaising with various departments to determine ICT requirements and collaborating with third-party software companies to deliver solutions. Andy also served as a Senior Software Developer, primarily focusing on full-stack development with Microsoft's .NET Framework, creating in-house software solutions and integrations between third-party enterprise applications. Notably, they led the technical implementation of "Citizen Account Wales," a project sponsored by the National Assembly for Wales to provide a centralized online account for Welsh citizens. In 2016, Andy joined Shared Resource Services, where they worked as a Senior Software Developer, Technical Architect, and Principal Integration Engineer. In these roles, they continued to develop software solutions for public sector customers while overseeing design, architecture, and stakeholder collaboration. Currently, Andy works at Ensono Digital as a Senior Consultant, specializing in .NET technologies.

Andy Hale attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons.) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained various certifications throughout their career.
