Seth Caplan is an award-winning filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in the industry. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Promoter at Boom Chicago. Seth then Co-Founded and Owned Enspire Learning from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they became a Film Producer and has since written and produced an acclaimed collection of feature films, animated movies, and documentary programs. Seth'swork has earned him numerous awards, including the audience award for best film in the Next category at the Sundance Film Festival for "FIRST GIRL I LOVED" and the John Cassavetes Independent Spirit Award for their film "IN SEARCH OF A MIDNIGHT KISS". Early in their career, they co-wrote and produced "FLATLAND: The Movie", an animated film starring the voices of Martin Sheen, Kristen Bell, and Michael York.

Seth Caplan began their educational journey at Francis W. Parker School, where they completed their high school studies from 1983 to 1995. Seth then attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a BS in Radio/Television/Film and a BA in the Liberal Arts Plan II Honors Program between 1995 and 1999. Following this, they spent a year at the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, studying Art History and Political Science from 1998 to 1999. After this, they attended the University of Melbourne for a year, studying International Politics from 2000 to 2001. Finally, they obtained an MFA in Producing from The American Film Institute between 2003 and 2005.
