Stephen Murphy

Stephen Murphy currently serves as the Head of European Corporate Legal at Enstar Group, a position held since April 2019, following roles as Senior Legal Counsel and VP, Legal Counsel - M&A and Regulatory. Prior to their tenure at Enstar Group, Stephen was a Senior Associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP from April 2012 to March 2019, where Stephen provided legal advice to clients in the insurance, reinsurance, and financial sectors on various regulatory matters and corporate transactions. Stephen began their career as an Associate and Trainee Solicitor at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP from September 2009 to March 2012. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Legal Practice Course (LPC) from BPP Law School, and a B.A. and LL.B (First Class) in Economics and Law from the University of Galway, complemented by an exchange program at Boston College.
