Robert A. Sinkler is a Federal Business Executive with extensive experience in leading multi-disciplinary organizations and managing complex projects. They currently serve as the Water Resources Infrastructure Director for Heart of Illinois Regional Port District and recently held a similar role at The Nature Conservancy's North America Water Program. Sinkler has previously acted as a strategic advisor to the Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and managed the Army's environmental programs while stationed at the Pentagon. Their military leadership experience includes roles as Commander of various combat engineer battalions and oversight of significant engineering projects, including hurricane protection efforts in New Orleans. Sinkler's educational background includes degrees in Geology and Administration, as well as strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College.
