Jim Nelson

Jim Nelson is an accomplished senior leader with extensive experience in financial crime compliance across various global markets. Currently serving as the Regional Head of AFC and UK MLRO at Entain since March 2025, Jim Nelson previously held significant roles at NatWest Group, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and Standard Chartered Bank, among others. Notable positions include Head of Quality and Standards for Financial Crime and Controls at NatWest and Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank. With a Big 4 background, Jim Nelson has collaborated with board executives and regulators throughout Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Jim Nelson holds a BA (Hons.) in Economics and Public Policy from Leeds Beckett University.
