Joseph Attard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance and anti-money laundering within the gaming industry. Currently serving as the International Compliance Director and Managing Director for Malta at Entain since January 2022, Joseph also holds key expert roles in gaming AML/CFT for both the EU AML/CFT Global Facility and the Council of the European Union. Prior to these positions, Joseph led the Anti Money Laundering and Compliance (MLRO) efforts at the Malta Gaming Authority from April 2015 to January 2022, while also fulfilling various managerial and executive roles. Joseph's career began at Vodafone Malta, where a range of positions were held from October 2008 to April 2015. Joseph Attard holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology from the University of Malta, a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute, and is a Graphic Designer Adobe Associate through ICE Malta.
