Michael Klemm

Michael Klemm has extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Michael started their career as a Software Developer at Siemens Corporate Research, where they worked on developing existing software solutions using SCRUM methodology. Michael then worked as a Software Assistant at technosert electronic GmbH and as a Software Developer at IT|Pro Consulting & Software GmbH, where they focused on internet and mobile applications using Microsoft products.

In 2012, Michael became a Team & Tech Lead at Entain, leading a software development team and ensuring high availability, quality, performance, and security of the central service layer API. Michael then progressed to the role of Engineering Manager, overseeing software development for the core web foundation and ecosystem of the company. Michael managed two distinct development areas with multiple agile delivery teams, responsible for sports-betting features, core components, and services of the company's architecture.

Since 2023, Michael has been serving as the Head of Engineering at Entain, leading the central software development department and driving the technical vision for the company. Michael is responsible for hiring and managing engineers, setting the technical direction, and ensuring project delivery within schedule and budget. Their work experience demonstrates a strong focus on leading engineering teams, technical decision-making, and driving successful software development projects.

Michael Klemm completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria from 2004 to 2007. Michael then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering at the same university from 2007 to 2009.
