Fred Glover

Fred Glover is the Chief Scientific Officer at Entanglement, Inc., leading algorithmic design and strategic planning initiatives. They are also a Distinguished University Professor, Emeritus, at the University of Colorado, where they held joint affiliations in the School of Engineering, the Department of Applied Mathematics, and the Leeds School of Business until 2006. Glover has authored or co-authored over 500 articles and eight books, and is known for creating the "Tabu Search Algorithm." They are an elected member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and have received numerous prestigious awards, including the von Neumann Theory Prize. Additionally, Glover has co-founded several companies, including OptTek Systems, Inc., a leader in optimization technology.
