Derek Hu

Derek Hu is a Product Manager at Entegris since April 2022, previously holding the role of Associate Product Manager. At Entegris, Derek collaborated with operations and logistics to align production planning with product strategy and worked with account and customer service teams to manage finished goods allocations during supply-chain disruptions. Prior experience includes a Hardware Product Management Internship at Formlabs, where Derek conducted customer preference analyses, developed pricing models, and benchmarked software against competitors. As a Graduate Student Researcher at Cornell University, Derek investigated biomineralization pathways related to heart disease and coordinated research efforts across multiple groups. Earlier roles include Project Engineer with Stryker, where Derek developed a bone density instrument for orthopedic surgeries, and Laboratory Technician at Miwa Lab, focusing on genetic research.
