Derek Ong is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in managing operations in the Asia region. Currently serving as Managing Director of Asia Operations at Entegris since 2017, Ong previously held the position of Managing Director at Neste Oil, where responsibilities included overseeing the world's largest biofuel refinery in Singapore from 2012 to 2016. Ong's career also includes a tenure at DuPont/INVISTA from 1994 to 2012, where Derek operated as General Manager, Plant Manager, and Six Sigma Master Black Belt while managing the world's largest polymer fiber plant in China and the most integrated chemical fiber plant in Singapore. Ong holds a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma/Statistics from the Six Sigma Academy and an Honors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
