Eric Nielson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law and patent prosecution. Currently serving as the Lead for Intellectual Property at Entegris since October 2021, Eric has previously held roles as a Patent Attorney at TraskBritt, P.C., and as an Associate Patent Attorney at Fabian VanCott and Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy, P.C. Proficient in patent writing and prosecution across chemical, mechanical, and software domains, Eric is also skilled at drafting legal opinions and preparing appeals. Eric holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota, graduating magna cum laude, along with a Master’s in Medical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
