Oleg Polyakov has a strong background in engineering and scientific research. Oleg has worked at various companies and institutions throughout their career. Starting in 1994, they worked at Gazprom as a Researcher and Senior Researcher, where they focused on new process development and distillation of gas condensate. In 1996, they joined Colorado State University as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where they conducted research on adsorbents for CO and studied olefin polymerization catalysis. Oleg also taught chemistry and physical chemistry during this time. In 2001, Polyakov joined Synkera Technologies, Inc. as a Principal Scientist, and they stayed with the company until 2013. Oleg then worked at Western Research Institute as a Principal Engineer from 2013 to 2017. Currently, they are a Principal Engineer at Entegris, where they have been since 2017.
Oleg Polyakov obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry from Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia from 1989 to 1993.
