Hermanus Brummer has extensive experience in software development, currently serving as a Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Entelect since January 2013. In this role, responsibilities include mentoring junior developers and developing risk and profit and loss processes for an insurance company. Prior to this, Brummer contributed as a part-time Software Developer at the Johannesburg Centre for Software Engineering, working on a web development project for UNESCO. Experience also includes a brief tenure at S1 Corporation developing an Eclipse IDE plugin and observing consulting processes at Secelec Consulting Engineers. Brummer holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree with a focus on Information and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, obtained in 2012.
