Onellan Govender

Onellan Govender has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Currently, at Entelect, they hold the position of Project Lead and Senior Business Analyst. Prior to that, they worked at 3 Way Marketing as the Head of Technical Operations. Before that, they were part of Air Liquide, where they held several roles, including Central Region Packaged Gas Operations Manager, Chairperson of the Health and Safety Committee, Acting Regional Supply Chain Manager, and Assistant Operations Controller. Onellan also has experience in the banking industry, having worked at Standard Bank Group as a Process Implementation Manager and Analyst in Transition Management. Additionally, they worked as a Tutor in Thermodynamics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Onellan started their career in the retail sector as a Cashier and Sales Assistant at Sportsmans Warehouse and Cashier at Mr Price Group.

Onellan Govender obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, completing their studies from 2005 to 2008. Onellan then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2011. Additionally, they received a certification as a PRINCE2® Practitioner in Project Management from SnapTech International in 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Onellan has obtained various certifications in software design, business analysis, agile development, leadership, and management from LinkedIn in 2022 and 2023.
