Brian Pham

Brian Pham has a varied work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Jr Software Engineer for Entera. Prior to this, they were a Software Engineer Fellow at General Assembly from 2021. From 2015-2021, they were the Business Owner of Tiffany's Cosmetics, where they spearheaded the transformation of a family-owned brick-and-mortar store to an online eCommerce business, expanding the customer base from local to international, and increasing gross annual sales by nearly 200%. Brian also created and marketed a successful online business with over $250,000 in gross annual sales and nearly 8000 transactions annually, and reduced employee work hours by 70%, decreasing commute times by 80%, improving employee physical health and overall morale. From 2013-2015, they were a Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they analyzed and researched specimens that contributed to the publication of several scientific papers, collaborated with peers to efficiently coordinate division of labor on an astounding amount of data review of more than 2,000 samples, and measured and mapped systems of leaf hydraulics that provided insight into crop and plant survival during periods of drought.

Brian Pham obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology with a specialization in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles between 2010 and 2015. Brian then obtained certifications in React Certification, Rest API Certification, Typescript with React and Jest Testing, Javascript Intermediate Certification, Agile Project Management: Scrum, Python for Data Science and Machine Learning, and SQL Programming from HackerRank and Udemy in November 2021. In October 2021, they obtained certifications from Udemy in Agile Project Management: Scrum, Python for Data Science and Machine Learning, and SQL Programming. Brian Pham is currently enrolled in General Assembly for Computer Software Engineering, which they began in 2021.
