Ed Gardner, Jr., CEcD, EDFP, is an accomplished economic development professional with extensive experience in driving business growth and workforce initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Business and Economic Development at Entergy since August 2015, Gardner previously held roles including Economic Development Representative at PowerSouth Energy Cooperative, Vice President of Economic Development and Workforce at the Birmingham Business Alliance, and Executive Director of the St. Clair County Economic Development Council, where significant job creation and capital investments were achieved. Gardner also served as Assistant Director of Economic Development for the City of Auburn, playing a key role in industrial recruitment.
