Eric Gardner

Eric Gardner is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector and military service. Currently serving as a Senior Lead Risk and Insurance Engineer at Entergy since 2007, Eric has managed projects involving engineering design packages and contractor oversight for gas turbines and heat recovery steam generators. Prior to this role, Eric held positions as a Senior Plant Engineer and System Engineer at Florida Power & Light Company, overseeing system health for Siemens steam turbines at the St. Lucie Nuclear Plant. Eric's military background includes a decade of service as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve and earlier experience as an Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, as well as a certification in Nuclear Field Electrical Theory from the Navy Nuclear Power School.
