Jim Booth, P.E. is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in electrical engineering and project management. Currently serving as Manager of Distribution Planning and Senior Project Manager at Entergy since May 2007, Jim Booth supports economic development initiatives and acts as a liaison between distribution and transmission groups. Previous roles include Software Application Engineer IV at SAIC, where Jim Booth developed critical applications for General Electric, and Asset Planning Engineer at Allegheny Energy, where numerous load forecasts and equipment settings were prepared. Jim Booth also gained valuable experience as an Electronics Engineer for the Department of the Navy, focused on test planning and programming.
